With this program you will learn to guide certified divers safely in different environments and conditions. By giving dive briefings, conducting site assessments and guiding dives, you will become a safe and competent Dive Guide in a short time.

In your online study kit and with the academic sessions that you will carry out in the dive center, you will learn the tasks and characteristics of a dive guide, how to evaluate a dive site and the group of divers that you are going to guide. You will learn to do dive briefings and to manage diving incidents and emergencies.

In the practical part you will make 7 dives in which you will review your diving techniques and put into practice all the new knowledge, entrusting you, with the support of your instructor, to a group of divers. You will give real diving briefings and organize and guide the group in different underwater environments.

Upon completing the entire program, you will receive your Dive Guide certification, you will be able to start your professional career working as a guide in diving centers and you will be prepared to become a Divemaster

Course duration: minimum 6 days

Requirements:

Minimum age: 15 years, 18 years for professional status

  • Certification Stress & Rescue, Deep Diver, Navigation, Night Diving and Limited Visibility
  • 40 logged dives
  • Diving insurance. If you do not have insurance you can hire it here or at the dive center.
  • Diving equipment
