Enroll in SSI’s Science of Diving speciality to fully understand the underwater world and its effects on the human body. This specialty, which is required to complete most SSI professional programs, is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge of diving. It’s available online, so you can earn your SSI Science of Diving Specialty Certification from home and prepare to launch your career. You will receive the support of our instructors to review all your doubts and knowledge.

It is a totally theoretical course and does not have training dives, so it is an ideal course for the time when we cannot dive.

Upon completion, you will earn your SSI Science of Diving Specialty Certification and will be halfway to completing the desired SSI Divemaster qualification.

Course duration: 1 day (does not have dives)

Requirements:

  • Open Water Diver certification or equivalent from another agency
  • Minimum age: 12 years
